Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Senior/Lead Plan-to-Produce Advisor in Findlay, Ohio, to drive enterprise improvements across planning, production, inventory, logistics, and commercial activities. The role focuses on analytics, problem solving, and translating opportunities into practical changes in processes, data, and technology.

The advisor will partner with business leaders and sites to identify priorities, develop KPIs, and support adoption of improvements across the end-to-end

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, planning, supply chain, or process analysis is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and data-analysis skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, prioritize, and advance enterprise Plan-to-Produce improvement opportunities.
• Analyze operational signals, data quality, and cross-functional dependencies to pinpoint gaps and drive improvements.
• Develop performance measures and insights to help stakeholders understand process performance and risk.
• Lead structured problem solving and implement sustainable process improvements across the value chain.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to shape requirements and enable adoption of improvements.
