Job summary

PRO Services in Michigan seeks a Lead/Senior Estimator to own bids end-to-end—from drawings to submission—ensuring competitiveness, scope integrity, and accurate cost modeling. You will supervise Staff Estimators in take-off work and report to the Director of Estimating.

This role blends strategic bid leadership with hands-on technical execution, evaluating means and methods, identifying value engineering opportunities, and communicating pricing rationale to GC teams and senior leadership; you

Qualifications

8–10+ years estimating experience in piping, mechanical, or industrial construction.
Field experience in piping or mechanical construction with leadership roles.
Experience leading large-scale bids ($10M–$75M+) on industrial projects.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent field experience considered.

Responsibilities

Own bids end-to-end from kickoff to submission, ensuring scope & price integrity.
Supervise Staff Estimators in take-off work and bid development.
Lead bid/no-bid reviews and provide strategic pricing recommendations.
Collaborate with Project Managers and GC teams to align estimates with execution plans.
Identify value engineering opportunities and manage risk in pricing.
