Qualifications

• Solid piping engineering and design experience in the Oil & Gas industry (10+ years).
• Experience with piping stress analysis.
• Responsible for large teams.
• Good knowledge of relevant IT systems, preferably E3D / Navisworks / SmartPlant Review.
• Experience in lead role for FEED and Detail Engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects as Lead Engineer ensuring execution meets quality management standards.
• Provide leadership in Piping Engineering and manage large teams.
• Ensure effective communications among engineering disciplines and project management.
• Define the discipline scope of work and develop the Piping Execution Plan.
• Participate in project status meetings and report on project progress.
• Assume responsibility for cost, schedule, material quantity, and budget control.

Skills

Piping engineering and design experience in Oil & Gas

Piping stress analysis

Leadership of large teams

Knowledge of relevant IT systems (E3D, Navisworks, etc.)

Project controls and scheduling experience

Experience in lead role for FEED and Detail Engineering projects

Knowledge of B31.3 and applicable piping codes

Excellent communication skills in English

Education

Bachelor or master’s degree in an engineering discipline
