Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks an experienced 3D Piping Designer to lead modeling and detailed drawings for nuclear projects. You will work on SPF-based data workflows, ensuring code compliance and high-quality deliverables across complex plant designs in a multidisciplinary team.

The role includes mentoring junior staff and coordinating with engineers to meet schedule and budget. Ideal candidates bring SPF/SP3D and AutoCAD proficiency, strong knowledge of ANSI/ASME codes, and a collaborative

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree with 6+ years of experience, OR High school diploma with 10+ years of experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of design experience
Experience in nuclear, oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation industries
Advanced proficiency with SPF, SP3D, PDS, Plant 3D, Octave Forte 3D or similar, AutoCAD (2D/3D)
Strong knowledge of ANSI/ASME codes and standards
Understanding of engineering discipline practices and ability to coordinate design across disciplines
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Leadership and mentoring experience and willingness to supervise designers/drafters
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Occasional travel to client sites
Ability to sit for extended periods, conduct field visits, and lift up to 25 lbs
U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

3D Modeling & Technical Drawing: develop high-precision 3D models and drawings for piping systems and layouts
Lead piping design efforts and supervise design work across concurrent projects
Coordinate with engineers and cross-functional teams for inter-discipline integration
Develop and maintain department standards, templates, and design guides
Support project execution, constructability reviews, and field installation activities
