Job Summary

The Lead Pipeline Operator is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining fuel facilities, receiving fuel from pipelines, and inspecting hydrant systems in accordance with ATA 103, Swissport policies, and GPPM. Responsibilities also include maintaining tank farms and hydrant system equipment.

The pay rate is $27.37/hr. Full-time employees receive health and wellness benefits, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.

Your activities

• Accept petroleum products into storage facilities per ATA 103 procedures and quality controls
• Train new employees as directed
• Ensure fuel quality and system integrity according to ATA 103
• Maintain fuel inventories
• Perform inspections per ATA 103 and NFPA standards
• Assist mechanics with repairs and maintenance
• Assist in calibration of equipment
• Work on loading racks and storage equipment
• Update records and inspection forms
• Complete paperwork as instructed
• Inspect equipment and report discrepancies
• Perform fuel quality control per ASTM and ATA standards
• Assist with spill cleanup and maintain work area
• Follow all Swissport policies and procedures

Your profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Good communication skills
• Ability to pass tank farm operator math, color blindness tests
• Knowledge of fuel facilities and hydrant systems
• Ability to climb stairs, work at heights, and perform physical tasks
• Respond to emergency conditions
• Work in all weather conditions
• Flexible working hours
