Job summary

Refrigeration Design and Service, Inc. seeks an experienced Pipefitter Field Supervisor/Foreman to lead installation of large industrial refrigeration systems. You will lay out pipe from engineering diagrams, supervise fitters and welders, and ensure work meets IIAR standards.

This role reports to the Director of Construction and requires travel to client sites as needed. Ideal candidates have strong leadership, hands-on pipefitting skills, and proficiency with CAD/MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Experience installing large industrial refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel up to 10 days.

Responsibilities

• Consult blueprints and instructions; create procedures.
• Supervise crew and subcontractors for efficient installation.
• Coordinate subcontractor work across project phases.
• Understand weld procedures per IIAR standards and perform checks.
• Report discrepancies to engineering and Director of Construction.
• Complete as-built drawings daily and submit to engineering.
• Complete material take-offs and place orders with vendors.
• Travel to job sites as required; may stay out of town up to 10 days.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed; participate in meetings.
