Job summary

East Coast Repair & Fabrication is seeking a qualified individual to manage and supervise experienced trade personnel. Located in Portsmouth, Virginia, you will ensure material and resources are available for projects and compliance with safety and quality regulations.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma (GED) or Associates degree with 3-5 years of experience in marine or industrial fields. A full benefits package includes medical, dental, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related marine, shipyard, or industrial experience required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to tour all vessels, piers, docks, and work sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise trade personnel for all assigned tasks.
• Ensure timely requisitioning of material and equipment.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to meet schedule requirements.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate department staff.
