Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Oversee the piercing customer journey from start to finish, including seamless greeting, check in, styling, transaction and service experience including aftercare education.
• Provide a calm and professional demeanor in piercing services to deliver the best experience; embody Mejuri values in every client interaction.
• Act as an ambassador of Mejuri and promote customer awareness about the brand and piercing studios; build a strong local clientele.
• Communicate insights and opportunities related to piercing products and services to the Store Manager & Store Services as needed.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager on improvements to the flow and process of the piercing studio.
• Work with store staff to update the schedule and online booking service.
• Explain proper aftercare to each client and inform them of signs of infection; tailor aftercare information to materials and client specifics.
• Explain service procedures and risks; identify medical concerns that may impact piercing and provide care guidance.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and uphold Mejuri’s Steps of Selling; train and guide the team to ensure a high-quality in-store experience.
• Promote additional services and offerings including piercing, engraving, and other services.

Operations

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the piercing studio, coordinating with the Store Services team and Store Manager.
• Support inventory management and provide feedback to ensure optimal quantities and assortment at the studio.
• Maintain health and safety standards, cleanliness, waste management, and space requirements.
• Uphold legal compliance in all customer interactions, verify identification/requirements/waivers, and stay updated on local laws and protocols.
• Remain knowledgeable on Mejuri products and become an expert on the piercing jewelry assortment, including labret sizing, materials, gemstones, and metals.
• Support the check-up and downsizing process for each client; style and suggest products for piercing clients and aid in designing ear stacks.
• Manage piercing appointment occupancy by promoting and raising awareness of the studio.
• Coordinate with Store Services to order necessary piercing equipment.
• Ensure all documentation and client records are maintained properly.
