Job summary

Executive Jet Management in Colorado is seeking a highly qualified Lead PIC and PIC for a new two-pilot Part 91 operation based in Colorado. This is an exciting opportunity to join a private aviation team and help build a flight operation from the ground up.

The Lead PIC will ensure safe operations, oversee flight planning, compliance with SOPs, CRM/TEM usage, and exceptional service for the aircraft owner and crew, with a strong emphasis on safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in corporate/business aviation strongly preferred.
• FAA Type rating in the GVII or heavy cabin Gulfstream aircraft.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Minimum Time Requirements: Total flight time 3500 hours; MEL 1500 hours; PIC 2000 hours; PIC MEL 500 hours; Instrument 300 hours; Jet 500 hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crewing and trip assignments are compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
• Completes flight planning, performance and weight and balance tasks for each assignment.
• Utilizes Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead required briefings and mitigate operational risks.
• Complies with SOPs and coordinates with company personnel; acts as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
• Completes all aircraft pre-flight tasks and records discrepancies; ensures aircraft is mission capable.
• Monitors external servicing items (fueling, oil, oxygen) per SOPs.
• Completes passenger briefings and delivers the highest level of customer service; meets special passenger needs.
• Uses CRM and TEM to communicate with crew and support personnel.
