Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the practicing state(s) or proof of eligibility.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy, or Master's degree in a related field plus a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with 5 years PT experience.
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel per state licensure and professional standards.
• Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules, timely clinical and billing documentation, and attend work-related meetings.
• Participate in patient care and staffing conferences.
• Refer patients to other disciplines and agencies as needed.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to select appropriate therapeutic regimens.
• Adapt programs and care plans to meet individual patient needs.
• Promote a safe environment and eliminate fire and safety hazards.
• Order necessary supplies and equipment.
• Maintain, clean, and report the need for equipment repairs.
• Ensure patients and families receive high-quality, compassionate service.
• Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, identify impairments, set treatment goals, and plan care, while documenting all services and treatment plans.
