Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Louisville, KY is seeking a Lead Physical Therapist for a full-time outpatient role. This senior clinician will balance direct patient care with leadership, mentorship, and clinic growth efforts.

You will work in an independently owned FYZICAL clinic offering modern rehab tools, VR-based therapy, and a supportive leadership team. Experience leading teams and a passion for patient-centered care are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or MPT).
• Active Kentucky Physical Therapist license.
• Minimum 3 years of outpatient physical therapy experience.
• CPR certification and strong communication skills.
• Interest in leadership, mentorship, and clinic growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based plans of care.
• Provide outpatient orthopedic, balance, and functional rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Utilize modern rehabilitation technology, including VR platforms, when appropriate.
• Complete accurate documentation in compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the lead clinician and clinical resource for the clinic.
• Mentor and support Physical Therapists and clinical staff.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
• Uphold high clinical standards and ethical practice.
• Foster a collaborative, professional, and patient-centered clinic culture.
