Work from home, UK client, Full Time, Lead PHP Developer/Engineer position

This role is for a substantial, fast-growing, and well-respected UK Sports Equipment Retail Firm who have hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a permanent Work From Home position and every day you'll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunities to learn and develop.

Location: Remote Work from Home in India

Minimum Experience: 6+ years, with 2+ years in a senior/lead role

Shift Timings: 12 pm - 9:30 pm (Summer), 1 pm - 10:30 pm (Winter)

Roles and responsibilities

• Lead and actively contribute to hands-on development within a Scrum-based development team, ensuring delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions.
• Manage and mentor developers (line management, goal setting, performance reviews, and PDPs) to support their professional development and the growth of the team.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable architectures that balance monolithic and microservices approaches.

• Test-Driven Development (TDD) strong practical experience with unit, functional, and integration tests.
• API creation and 3rd-party API integration.

• AWS infrastructure experience.
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics NAV integrations.
• Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) familiarity.

• Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (e.g., ReactJS).
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI for reporting and dashboards.
