Lead Developer / SQL DBA Job Summary:

This position is responsible for leading our development team in software projects, assisting as a web developer, and performing DBA functions on both development and production SQL database servers. This is an on-premises role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage development projects using agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Provide technical expertise to facilitate task completion and goal achievement.
• Ensure adherence to best practices within the organization.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, test, and deploy applications and services.
• Administer source control repositories.
• Manage databases used by in-house applications, including schema changes, data conversions, and query tuning.
• Monitor application and database performance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in SQL database administration.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, SQL databases, and PHP frameworks.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with development, testing, and production environments.
• Knowledge of Linux server and Apache web server administration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; organized and orderly work style.
• Ability to participate in strategic planning to support organizational goals.

Reporting To: IT Director
