Qualifications

• Current and valid CPT I or II certification.
• BLS (AHA) certificate required on hire.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• 1 year of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
• Supervise CPT-1 staff and ensure competency.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and PPE safety.
• Enter data, filing, and telephone communication tasks.
• Provide staff training and orientation; evaluate competency.
• Process specimens for testing and refer to reference labs as needed.
• Stock and maintain laboratory supplies; keep work areas clean.
• Participate in QA data collection and performance improvement initiatives.
