The role requires 2+ years phlebotomy, 1–3 years supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure. On-site, full-time with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of two years' experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1-3 years of lead/supervisory experience required.
• Must have outstanding oral communication skills.
• Must have demonstrated customer service skills.
• Ability to work in stressful environments.
• Good time management.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the Laboratory Collecting and Receiving department.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and staff scheduling.
• Collect and process patient specimens.
• Communicate clinical instructions to ensure specimen integrity.
• Assist manager in clinical and administrative departmental functions.
• Coach and provide technical expertise to staff, students and trainees.
• Liaison between staff and manager.
• Assume responsibility in the absence of Manager or Director.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities for the workstation or department.
