Qualifications

• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience
• HS diploma or equivalent + graduate of accredited phlebotomy/MLA/MA program
• National certification in phlebotomy or state licensure (phlebotomy/MA/MLA)

Responsabilités

• Label tubes immediately after collection and ensure proper paperwork.
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain sterile collection sites.
• Mentor phlebotomy students and junior staff as needed.
• Assist in coordinating phlebotomy workflows with ER/ICU and other departments.
• Ensure sample integrity: proper fill volumes, timely collections, and accurate patient identification.
• Maintain orderly, clean, and well-stocked phlebotomy areas.
• Demonstrate proper use of safety devices and collection techniques.
