Job Description

The Lead Phlebotomist for the Southern Region will be based in Freehold area. The Lead Phlebotomist will be responsible for the following key functions:

  • Support and visit assigned Phlebotomy team members and sites regularly
  • Train new hires and re-train existing team members
  • Provides daily technical support to team and resolves specimen issues.
  • Works with Supervisor to create and maintain team's schedule.
  • Cover sites and perform phlebotomy as needs arise.
Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a certified phlebotomy program and ASCP certification preferred

Minimum Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years prior phlebotomy experience highly preferred
  • Pediatric phlebotomy experience highly preferred
  • Hospital, physician office or clinic experience preferred
  • Medical terminology experience preferred
