Job summary

Roguebeam in Seattle is seeking an Antenna Engineer to lead design and testing of phased array antennas for payloads and ground terminals. You will own design, simulation, fabrication, and integration with front-end modules, collaborating with RF, digital, and software engineers throughout the product cycle.

The role requires hands-on testing, a bachelor's degree in engineering, and experience with RF/antennas and 3D EM tools. Some travel may be required in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 2+ years RF and antennas research or development experience (internship and thesis acceptable).
  • 1+ years of experience using one of the 3D EM simulation tools: CST, HFSS, FEKO etc.

Responsibilities

  • Design phased array antennas; element design, feed structures, integration to front-end modules and related microwave components on PCBs.
  • Own simulation, fabrication, testing and troubleshooting of passive and active antenna/array prototypes.
  • Contribute to software development and test of fully functional phased arrays.
  • Assist in product integration across platforms (ground, drone, satellite) for customers.
  • Collaborate with RF/digital/software engineers on system-level design.
  • Provide hands-on support through the product life cycle.
