Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician Registration.
• Two (2) years of pharmacy-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the work of an assigned group of employees under supervision.
• Supports training programs, policies, and scheduling.
• Ensures resources are available for staff.
• Oversees compliance with quality assurance programs and regulations.
• Procuring medications and resolving backorders/drug shortages.
• Analyzes data for process improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinates follow-up with physicians, patients, and health care team to ensure medication access.
• Validates training and quality assurance programs per policies.
• Participates in recruiting, interviewing, and recognizing team members.
• Oversees Automated Dispensing Machines and related technology.
• Places orders for medications and department supplies per policies.
• Develops inventory control procedures to maintain patient care without excess stock.
• Fosters collaborative working relationships and a positive work environment.
