Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Ohio seeks a Pharmacy Technician Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations, supervise technicians, and ensure accurate, on-time processing of prescriptions during the shift.

You will coordinate with Floor Leads and leadership, maintain inventory, and promote a calm, professional work environment even in high-volume periods.

This role requires an Ohio license, PTCB preferred, and a track record of reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ohio Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• PT_CB certification preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience required, preferably in long-term care.
• Previous supervisory or lead pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and positive under pressure.
• Dependable with strong attendance.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide direction.
• Ability to perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and workflow during assigned shift.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and coordinate with Floor Leads.
• Ensure prescription orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Provide guidance and support to staff and maintain a positive work environment.
• Monitor inventory, restock floor stock, and manage expired medications.
