Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician Lead to supervise and train staff, enforce protocols, and ensure inpatient and retail pharmacy remain fully functional. You will coordinate day-to-day operations, mentor technicians, and support competency assessments across shifts.

Under pharmacy leadership, you will assign tasks, track performance, lead technician projects, and help implement process improvements while maintaining strict compliance with hospital policies,

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• 4 years of relevant hospital or retail pharmacy experience; Level IV technician or equivalent experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and Vermont State Pharmacy Technician Registration required.

Jobbeschreibung

Under the supervision of pharmacy leadership and with direction from pharmacists, this incumbent competently performs the tasks of the pharmacy technician. This lead technician ensures other pharmacy technicians follow established protocols and consistently abide by departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Also, responsible, in conjunction with leadership, in the training of other pharmacy technicians and assignment of required tasks to keep the inpatient and/or retail pharmacy functional. Responsible for overseeing annual technician competency assessment and documentation and assuming the lead on technician specific activities and projects.

Minimum Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in healthcare related field preferred.

Minimum Work Experience

• 4 years of relevant hospital or retail pharmacy experience
• Level IV technician or equivalent experience.

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
• Vermont State Pharmacy Technician Registration.

• Knowledge of policies, procedures, regulations, and equipment for area.
• Ability to apply critical thinking skills in problem solving.
• Ability to coordinate activities of other pharmacy technicians.

Pay Range: $21.96 - $31.99
