Job summary
Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Rio Rancho, NM. Under a pharmacist's supervision, you will fill medication orders, pre-pack, compound, restock supplies, deliver medications, and perform clerical duties to support pharmacy operations and patient care.
We offer development options, safety initiatives, shift differentials, malpractice insurance, loan forgiveness, and access to EPIC charting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- PTCB and NHA certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
- At least two years of pharmacy experience.
- Training in sterile products, hazardous medications.
- Leadership training for Lead Technician roles.
Responsibilities
- Lead Technician in the assigned area and drive quality processes.
- Participate in policy development and standard work.
- Prepare sterile hazardous (Oncology) medications as primary responsibility.
- Adhere to Department Compliance Plan for controlled substances.
- Perform other required functions.
