Howard Head Sports Medicine in Edwards, CO is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in daily operations, including entering patient and prescription data, dispensing under supervision, and managing cash transactions. You will assist with inventory, third-party plan adjudications, and training other technicians, ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Experience in healthcare is preferred; Colorado provisional technician certification is required.

Qualifications

State of Colorado Pharmacy Technician Provisional Certification required.
Healthcare experience preferred.
HIPAA compliance required.
Strong computer and typing skills required.
Must read, write and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

Lead technician role and training in Pharmacy Technician processes.
Enter patient information and prescription orders in the computer.
Interacting with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues.
Profile and aid in dispensing under pharmacist supervision; may involve compounding training.
Manage cash transactions to support the patient experience.
Complete daily cash/reconciliation and revenue posting with finance.
Manage OTC and RX inventories; train others in processes.
Provide excellent customer service with relationship-based care.
