Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• 2 years of pharmacy technician practice Required
• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required
• PTCB Certification Preferred

Responsibilities

• Accountable for leading the daily operations of the technician staff assigned as they meet the needs of patients and staff.
• Provides input to department leadership regarding staff development and performance measures.
• Responsible for quality improvement, orientation and training, drug distribution, and projects as assigned by department leadership.
• Functions in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations.
• Assists with invoice processing for department as assigned.
• Provides orientation and training to the pharmacy technician team.
• Functions in all duties of a Pharmacy Technician.
