Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Englewood is hiring a licensed pharmacist to join our Englewood, CO team. You will ensure accurate dispensing, interpret prescriptions with safety in mind, and supervise technicians in a fast-paced long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate has a PharmD or PharmD-equivalent, an active State license, and at least 1 year of related experience, with strong problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD required.
• State Pharmacist License required without restrictions.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required.
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy.
• Medical consulting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare medications for final dispensing, including entry and packaging.
• Review orders and cycle-fill medications to ensure accuracy.
• Verify legality and feasibility of dispensing based on allergies and interactions.
• Interpret prescription orders with professional judgment for safety.
• Adhere to Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Oversee technicians and provide feedback to supervisor.
• Log all error medication occurrences.
• Other essential duties as assigned.
