Qualifications

• BS/PharmD degree in pharmacy required.
• Pharmacist License required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates drug regimens for patients in nursing facilities.
• Ensures facility compliance with Federal and State guidelines.
• Acts as liaison between pharmacy and facility to resolve issues.
• Educates nurses on facility drug use and safety.
• Reviews physician orders for dosage and interactions.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and interns.
