Job summary

CareTria’s Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to lead Operations, Inventory, Personnel, and Patient Management and to implement strategies for Specialty Pharmacy. This role reports to the General Manager of CareTria's Pharmacy.

The position emphasizes cost control, quality, and compliance with federal, state, and local rules. You will oversee clinical monitoring, delivery, and patient care coordination while guiding pharmacy personnel toward high service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with experience.
• Current unrestricted pharmacy licensure in Indiana State.
• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience as a specialty pharmacist.
• Proficient in clinical interpretation; drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interaction and allergies
• Experience with Specialty medications, Specialty disease management program, Oncology, REMS, and LDD programs
• Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of the Pharmacy in all aspects of its operation, including compounding, distribution, delivery, customer service, quality assurance, regulatory control and short and long term planning.
• Develop and maintain programs to manage pharmacy inventory and medical equipment provided to patients.
• Train and manage exempt and non-exempt pharmacy personnel.
• Establish and manage delivery services for all patients.
• Develop and maintain clinical monitoring programs for all therapies and patients as appropriate.
• Coordinate start of care with nurse/physician.
• Participate with nurse and physician in the development and revision to patient plan of care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient care conferences.
• Participate in the Strategic Improvement Plan (Performance Improvement Plan).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
