Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy in Ohio is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team. You will fill prescriptions accurately, educate patients, and oversee daily pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.

Responsibilities include immunizations, mentoring technicians, upholding Meijer policies and federal/state regulations, and delivering high-quality patient care while advancing the pharmacy business and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Immunization pharmacist certification (where applicable).
• Retail/community pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer Policies and Procedures and state/federal laws.
• Provide clinical services, including immunizations when allowed.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
