Job summary

CVS Health in Minnesota is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to lead patient care at the front lines of our pharmacy team. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, and immunize when appropriate, while supporting the Pharmacy Manager and stepping in as proxy during bench shifts.

In this role you’ll uphold patient safety, follow all federal and state laws, and coach colleagues to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living CVS Health values by delivering safe and compassionate patient care.
• Oversee pharmacy operations as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts.
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following workflow procedures.
• Coach and support pharmacy team to resolve insurance and medication issues and improve patient experiences.
• Proactively deliver immunizations and support technicians in learning to immunize.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS Health policies.
