Job summary

CVS Health, a leading healthcare company, seeks a Staff Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations at a CVS Retail location in Texas City. You will model excellence, support the Pharmacy Manager, and oversee daily pharmacy activities to ensure safe and effective patient care.

You will be responsible for dispensing, counseling, immunizations, inventory management, and compliance with state regulations while coaching the team to deliver compassionate care and strong patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on a task, pivot quickly, and ensure prescription accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist patients and colleagues.
• Communicate clearly with patients and team members.
• Use math to determine dispensing quantities and days’ supply.
