Job summary

OnPoint Pharmacy Smithtown is seeking a Supervising Pharmacist to lead our Smithtown location, overseeing the pharmacy, staff, and prescriber relationships. This lead role offers autonomy and ownership of the location’s performance, with focus on growing the patient base and ensuring dispensing accuracy.

You will manage daily operations, hire/train technicians, and build partnerships with prescribers and specialty practices while maintaining compliance and inspection readiness.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in New York in good standing.
• Experience supervising pharmacy technicians.
• Immunization certified.
• PioneerRx experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Supervising Pharmacist: licensure, compliance, controlled substance recordkeeping, inspection readiness.
• Run daily operations and dispensing accuracy.
• Hire, train, and manage the technician team.
• Build relationships with local prescribers and specialty practices.
• Grow the patient base through outreach, reactivation, and manufacturer programs.
• Own the location's numbers and work directly with ownership on performance.
