Job summary

Veracity Solutions in Champaign, IL is seeking a Pharmacist In Charge to lead daily pharmacy operations, oversee dispensing, and guide a team of Pharmacy Technicians. The role requires a PharmD, active Illinois license, and strong retail management experience.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage inventory, maintain patient records, and uphold federal and state laws. Work hours are Monday–Friday, onsite in a full-time role with a focus on leadership and process improvement.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree required.
• Current Illinois Pharmacist License required.
• Minimum 5 years of retail pharmacy manager experience.
• Experience supervising Pharmacy Technicians.
• Experience using a Pharmacy Patient Management System.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Review and process provider prescriptions legally and accurately.
• Organize pharmacy operations for efficient dispensing.
• Manage medication inventory, stocking, labeling, and expiration control.
• Lead Pharmacy Technicians and manage schedules.
• Maintain patient profiles and dispensing records.
• Ensure HIPAA, fraud, waste, and abuse compliance.
