Job summary

OnPoint Pharmacy in Smithtown is seeking a Supervising Pharmacist to lead the Smithtown location with real autonomy over operations, staff, and prescriber relationships. You will oversee daily dispensing accuracy, ensure compliance, and drive high-quality patient service.

As the leader, you will hire and train technicians, nurture relationships with local prescribers, and grow patient engagement through proactive outreach and manufacturer programs, while owning the location's performance

Qualifications

• Active New York pharmacist license in good standing.
• Experience supervising pharmacy technicians.
• Immunization certified.
• PioneerRx experience a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Supervising Pharmacist: licensure, compliance, controlled substance recordkeeping, inspection readiness.
• Run daily operations and dispensing accuracy.
• Hire, train, and manage the technician team.
• Build relationships with local prescribers and specialty practices.
• Grow the patient base through outreach, reactivation, and manufacturer programs.
• Own the location's numbers and work directly with ownership on performance.
