Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in AL with active license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience.
• Knowledge of Board of Pharmacy and DEA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains SOPs for compounding and dispensing.
• Provides pharmaceutical consultation to patients.
• Maintains accurate medication inventory and orders supplies.
• Facilitates DEA and Board of Pharmacy audits and inspections.
• Conducts site inventory and verifies inventory balances.
• Reviews and signs computer-generated pharmacy reports.
• Maintains medication records and security within the facility.
• Meets quarterly with Medical Director and Program Director to review practices.
• Prepares written compliance reports for the Medical Director.
• Adheres to State Board guidelines and related duties.
