Job summary

New Season in Montgomery, Alabama is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to oversee medication records, secure the pharmacy, and implement operating procedures for compounding and dispensing within the clinic. You will provide patient pharmaceutical consultations, manage inventory, prepare reports, and coordinate with Medical Director and Board to ensure compliance with DEA and state regulations.

The role requires at least one year of experience, strong confidentiality, and outstanding customer

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state where the clinic is located, in good standing.
• Knowledge of Board of Pharmacy and DEA regulations.
• Minimum one year of pharmacy experience.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills; highly organized, detail-oriented and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains operating procedures for supervision of compounding and dispensing of medications.
• Provides pharmaceutical consultation to patients.
• Maintains accurate accounting of all medications and orders supplies as needed.
• Facilitates DEA and Board of Pharmacy audits and inspections.
• Conducts site-inventory of all medication stocks and verifies inventory balances.
• Reviews and signs computer-generated pharmacy reports to confirm inventory accuracy.
• Develops procedures for maintaining medication records and security within the facility.
• Meets quarterly with Medical Director and Program Director to review practices; documents meetings.
• Prepares reports on provider compliance with pharmaceutical procedures; semi-annual reporting.
• Performs additional state board guidelines as required.
