Job summary
Alliance Biotech Solutions is seeking an Automation Commissioning Engineer to lead the commissioning, startup, and turnover of GMP automation systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will work with integrators, engineering, validation, quality, IT/OT, and vendors to ensure systems are ready for qualification and production.
The role requires 5+ years in automation or CQV within biopharma, strong knowledge of PLC/DCS/SCADA/HMI, and the ability to read P&IDs and electrical drawings.
Qualifications
- Lead commissioning and startup activities for GMP automation systems.
- 5+ years in automation, CQV, or controls engineering in biopharma.
- Experience with GMP equipment and automation platforms.
- Ability to read P&IDs, electrical drawings, and instrument datasheets.
Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and turnover of automation systems.
- Coordinate daily commissioning with integrators, vendors, and internal teams.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues during startup.
- Support FAT/SAT and transition to qualification and manufacturing.
