You will oversee ML-driven personalization, ranking, and discovery features, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product and data teams in a fast-paced, in-person role at our SoHo office.

The ideal candidate blends strong backend or infrastructure expertise with hands-on coding in Java, Python, and Typescript, and experience deploying ML models via AWS

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading complex technical projects with business impact.
• Experience integrating ML outputs into core product features.
• Strong backend or infrastructure specialization with full-stack knowledge.
• Proficiency in IaC, AWS, and languages like Java, Python, and Typescript.

Responsibilities

• Lead productionization of personalization and classification algorithms.
• Build with data and analytics to ensure accuracy of ML features.
• Translate experimental outputs from AWS Sagemaker/Personalize into production systems.
• Design and maintain model-serving infrastructure and APIs.
