Job summary

Majotima Corp. in Walnut Creek is seeking an Experienced Personal Trainer to join our Small Group Training gym. As a Personal Trainer, you will coach sessions of small group personal training, customize workouts according to individual needs and goals, and provide education on how to perform workouts correctly and safely.

Your primary goal is to help clients reach their fitness objectives. The ideal candidate is a great teacher with a passion for fitness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 5 years of experience as a personal trainer or fitness instructor certification.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique and body mechanics.
• First aid and CPR-certified.
• Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized workouts as needed.
• Coach small group training sessions (max 6 people).
• Ensure gym safety standards are followed.
• Assist with marketing events, social media and community events.
• Operate independently and responsibly.
