The ideal candidate has extensive civil litigation experience in California, strong research and negotiation skills, and a proven track record in handling discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and active California Bar in good standing.
• Approximately 7+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Substantial hands-on civil litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of California litigation procedures and deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Develop litigation strategy and manage cases from filing through resolution or trial.
• Evaluate liability, damages and settlement potential for each matter.
• Draft complaints, pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive documents.
• Propound and respond to written discovery and resolve disputes.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and trial.
• Represent clients at mediations, hearings and other court proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements and assist in ADR as needed.
