Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and every other weekend

Description:

Lead Personal Care Assistant

Location: Coatesville, PA

Status: Full time

Position Purpose:

Responsible for delivering personal care and support to participants, ensuring their health and well-being. Assists the department manager with scheduling and staffing, and provides guidance and support to team members as needed. The position involves working both in the facility and completing home care assignments.

What You Will Do:

• Support and guide colleagues and orient new team members
• Assist the department manager with scheduling and staffing
• Escort participants to medical and therapy appointments
• Monitor and report changes in participants’ condition or behavior
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and organizational policies
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Participate in care planning and staff meetings
• Assist with loading/unloading participants in transport vehicles

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• CNA certification preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle required for home visits
• Minimum 1 year of experience with frail or elderly individuals preferred; training provided if less onsite after hire
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to change, manage work priorities, and pay attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with electronic communication and documentation systems
