A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Lead Personal Care Assistant to deliver personal care and support to seniors. This role involves guiding colleagues, assisting with scheduling, and ensuring the well-being of participants. Lead Personal Care Assistant
Location: Coatesville PA
Status: Full time
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and every other weekend
Position Purpose:
Responsible for delivering personal care and support to participants, ensuring their health and well-being. Assists the department manager with scheduling and staffing and provides guidance and support to team members as needed.
Position Purpose:
Position will work in the facility as well as completing home care assignments.
What you will do:
Supporting and guiding fellow colleagues and orienting new team members
Assisting the department manager with scheduling and staffing
Escorting participants to medical and therapy appointments
Monitoring and reporting changes in participants’ condition or behavior
Ensuring compliance with infection control, safety, and organizational policies
Maintaining timely and accurate documentation
Participating in care planning and staff meetings
Assisting with loading/unloading of participants in transport vehicles
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
CNA certification preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle required for home visits
Minimum 1 year of experience with frail or elderly individuals preferred; training provided if less onsite after hire
Excellent organizational and customer service skills
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to change, manage and be flexible with work priorities, and pay attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with electronic communication and documentation systems
