Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an organized Assembly Team Lead in Kansas City to supervise an assembly line, boost efficiency, and ensure safety and quality on the floor.

You will train new team members, read blueprints, set up lines, and perform spot-checks while collaborating with maintenance and production staff. This on-site role requires regular attendance and familiarity with the production process, with forklift certification supported by the company.

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
