Fortrex is seeking an experienced Lead Person to oversee sanitation operations in a plant setting. You will direct a sanitation crew, ensure compliance with QA and USDA standards, and collaborate with management and regulatory agencies to maintain a spotless, safe work environment.
This on-site role requires leadership, vigilance, and the ability to work in hot or cold conditions with appropriate PPE. Fortrex values teamwork and ongoing training to improve safety and efficiency.

The Lead Person provides directions for the sanitation crew within a certain area of the plant. This position is trained in multiple jobs, can assist the training team members, and provide support as requested by the supervisor in that area. Job duties include:
This position would involve you to be in a wet, hot, and or cold environment, while wearing Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”). Shift may vary depending on location.
