Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Peri-Operative Assistant (POA) required.
• BLS-A certification must be current.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Provides service support for Surgical Services areas related to building services, patient transport, and patient preparation.
• Assists in positioning and maintenance of patient safety.
• Reports to the Surgical Services Leadership Team.
• Leads a team of four or more perioperative assistants.
