Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a quality assurance professional for OB/GYN sonography, focusing on QA/QC reporting and performance monitoring. The role collaborates with physicians and sonographers to standardize imaging across OB/MFM studies.

Candidates should have 3+ OB/GYN sonography experience, ARDMS/ARRT credentials, and be able to maintain databases and dashboards supporting quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires communication skills in English and ability to read, write, and comprehend effectively.
• Patient safety focused throughout imaging exams and interactions.
• Create and edit orders in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Create patient records and sonographer reports in the reporting system.
• Ensure timely completion of studies and documentation.
• OB/GYN sonography experience and detailed fetal anatomy surveys.
• Fetal echocardiography and Doppler assessments when required.
• Fetal growth assessments and transvaginal cervical length assessments.
• Provide sonographic assistance for procedures (e.g., amniocentesis, CVS).

Responsibilities

• Generate, analyze, and distribute QA/QC reports for OB/MFM ultrasound services.
• Monitor study performance metrics to ensure compliance with standards.

Job Description:

• Generate, analyze, and distribute quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) reports for Obstetric and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound services.
• Monitor ultrasound study performance metrics to ensure compliance with departmental, organizational, and accreditation standards.
• Conduct routine audits of OB and MFM imaging studies to verify completeness, accuracy, documentation quality, and adherence to established protocols.
• Identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement in imaging quality and workflow processes; communicate findings to leadership and providers.
• Collaborate with physicians, sonographers, and clinical staff to support standardization of imaging practices and consistency across all OB/MFM studies.
• Maintain quality databases, tracking systems, and performance dashboards to support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Field of Study:

• Graduation from a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Work Experience:

• 3+ experience in OB/GYN sonography. [Required]
• Vascular experience as approved by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in OB/Gyn. [Required]
