Job summary

VMC Soft Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead Performance Engineer in the United States to design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for enterprise and cloud-based applications.

You will work onsite across New Jersey, New York, and California with local interview flexibility. The role requires hands-on expertise with Apache JMeter, Load Runner, K6, Gatling, DataDog, and Dynatrace, plus strong API, Web, and automation testing capabilities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Performance Engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with JMeter, Load Runner, K6, Gatling, DataDog and Dynatrace.
• Experience designing and executing performance testing for API, Web and backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for enterprise and cloud-based apps.
• Create and maintain performance scripts for web, API, and backend services.
• Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing of applications and microservices.
• Develop automated test suites for Next.js applications (unit, integration, E2E).
• Perform API performance testing (REST/JSON, SOAP) and integrate with automation frameworks.
• Analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Monitor CPU, memory, GC, I/O, and network during test runs.
• Collaborate with Dev and DevOps to optimize performance and infrastructure.
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and report findings.
