Job summary

University Operations at UCF is seeking an Applications Programmer V to support and enhance the university's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions environment. You will lead custom development, integrations, database management, analytics, and enterprise application support.

You will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, deliver advanced troubleshooting, and mentor junior developers while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in higher education enterprise applications is preferred.
Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft and related integration technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain custom solutions within PeopleSoft and related ERP applications.
Develop and support integrations using PeopleTools, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, SQR, PeopleCode, and Informatica.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and effective system solutions.
Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ongoing support for PeopleSoft applications.
Develop user-focused functionality and interfaces to enhance system experience.
Perform data analysis, reporting, and statistical modeling to support decision-making.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and procedures.
Provide training to IT staff and end users.
Serve as a technical lead on complex projects and mentor junior staff.
Conduct code reviews and promote software development best practices.
