Nationwide Children's Hospital in Toledo, OH is seeking dynamic pediatric otolaryngologists to join the faculty of the Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital–Toledo, expanding this service line with dedicated nursing support.

Applicants should be BC/BE Otolaryngologists, with pediatric otolaryngology fellowship training, and hold an unrestricted Ohio medical license; call duties will be shared.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses patient’s injuries or illnesses and determines appropriate surgical procedures.
• Examines patient’s medical history, allergies, and current medications to avoid potential complications during surgery.
• Monitors patient’s vital signs during surgery and adjusts anesthesia as necessary.
• Performs surgical procedures with precision and accuracy, using sterile techniques and specialized tools.
• Prescribes post-operative care and medication to ensure proper healing and pain management.
• Collaborates with other medical professionals to develop treatment plans and ensure continuity of care for patients.
