Job summary

Sierra Circuits, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to learn, monitor, and optimize processes in plating and via fill areas. The role involves supporting continuous improvements, auditing processes, and creating SOPs.

You will collaborate with the chem lab and maintenance teams to ensure quality, safety, and efficient production. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years PCB engineering experience (or a BA) and familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years PCB engineering experience or BA degree.
• Familiarity with common software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine process audits and improve process efficiency.
• Monitor chemical concentrations and ensure quality across plating and via fill.
• Create SOPs and document new processes with cross-functional teams.
• Provide engineering support and training to operators and junior engineers.
• Lead lean initiatives and implement Six Sigma where applicable.
• Respond to daily quality issues and perform root-cause analysis with the team.
• Assist with equipment installation and maintenance planning in plating areas.
