Number of Positions in Requisition 1 Job Details OBGYN is a multiple location department and staff are rotated amongst all locations in New Jersey: Sewell, W. Deptford, Stratford & Cherry Hill. 1 evening shift required per week. The Lead Patient Services Associate (PSA) enhances the patient/customer experience by courteously and professionally processing arrival and departure activities associated with visits to the practice/department. The Lead PSA serves as a resource to other Patient Services Associates by mentoring, training and assisting in the direction of day to day operations. Primarily working at the front desk of an outpatient practice the Lead PSA verifies insurance, referrals and patient demographic information. The Lead PSA supports delivery of the Jefferson Experience by placing emphasis on the prompt and courteous treatment of all patients and visitors to maintain an efficient flow of patients to examination rooms.

Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• 3 years patient healthcare experience

Physical Demands

• Lift and carry 40-50 lbs.
• Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight.
• Frequent to continuous standing/walking.
• Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift.
• *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.

Salary Range

$17.00 to $22.98 Hourly. The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive. Positions posted as annual salaries reflect an estimated amount for a 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) (i.e. 40 hour equivalent), positions for less than 1.0 FTE will be prorated.
